    Description

no. 1 of 5: rectangular willy guhl vintage mid century fiber cement PLANTER
In 1951 Swiss architects Willy Guhl and Anton Bee designed the famous "Spindel" planter for the Eternit company. It was such a big success so that in the following years Eternit produced a lot of other planters, containers, chairs and tables, all of the same material, a stone grey fiber cement, in order to fit to the "Spindel" planter.
This rectangular planter with scalloped ends for easy lifting is also designed by Willy Guhl and it matches perfectly to the Spindel planter. Decade of production is unknown, probably 1960s. It was in outdoor use for many years and has got a fantastic vintage patina. It is a perfect addition to a true mid century balcony, terrace or garden! For outdoor use only.
4 more identic planters are available (see last picture).
    Length 23 1/3" (59.5 cm), width 6" (15 cm), height 6" (15 cm), weight approx. kg.
Any additional costs like import duties and other taxes are not included in the item price or in the shipping charges and have to be paid by the buyer.
