    Description

"The Triumph" Corn Planter was Manufactured by A C Kent, Janes Ville, WI.  Circa 1880. This used corn, grain and seed planter has not been repaired, altered or refinished. The planter is mechanically devised to select, load and drop a measured quantity of planting seed. Small farmers and truck patch growers used this method for decades from the late 1870's through the 1920's.
This particular planter has some of the signage worn off of it but clearly shows that it is a Triumph planter.  Handles are original and very sturdy (4" long).
The tin seed compartment is rusty and worn but would hold seed yet.
From top to bottom it measures 34" tall, with the wood handles measuring 2 7/8" wide.  The handles and hardware are all original and in very good condition.
PLEASE EXAMINE PICTURES CAREFULLY SINCE I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS!
