35 ft Antique Bronze Brass Balcony Fence Railing Vanderbilt Mansion NYC 426-17E

Beautiful antique Bronze or Brass balcony fence. It came from the Vanderbilt mansion in NYC circa 1880, The Balcony can be seen in the historical picture we have included in the listing.It is Likely the Casters of this work would have been Janes and McMan,Fisk or JL Mott. In 1930 the Mansion was raised and the Present day  Rockefeller plaza was erected. This fence is very ornate with a lot of detail. There are cast bronze balusters between each of the floral and scrolly sections, these 2 piece balusters are FULL ROUND balusters approx 3 1/2"diameter. Some of the florets are missing from the sections but it is hard to tell because it does not take any aesthetic away from the fence.  With thirty years in the Architectural Salvage Business Neither myself Or my Colleagues have ever seen such Fine and Ornate work as what the Vanderbilts Adorned there Estate with.
